Phil Cross-Subaru Brand Specialist
It’s not everyday you meet a ‘Subaru Brand Specialist’, but that’s exactly the level of achievement gained by Phil Cross from Derek Slack Motors. The much coveted Subaru title is highly valued within the industry and awarded to only a select few individuals who pass Subaru’s stringent assessment programme. The award is part of a collaboration between IMI (The Institute of the Motor Industry) and Subaru seeking excellence at the very highest level and recognising individual’s skills
Phil not only achieved the title, but was also awarded a merit in recognition of his specialist knowledge of Subarus’ core technology. In short, ‘Subaru Brand Specialist’ status, means Phil is one of only a handful of sales executives in the UK to hold the badge. Having been with Derek Slack Motors for 16 years, Phil was delighted with his award and recognition from Suabru describing it as ‘the most challenging test undertaken in many years and being a career highlight! ’.
