KODIAQ and New Shape OCTAVIA Launch Evening
The award winning ŠKODA KODIAQ and stunning, new shape OCTAVIA took centre stage at Derek Slack Motors’ VIP launch evening on Thursday 6th April, 2017. Click to view the video stills.
With many customers choosing to pre-order their KODIAQ, this was the first opportunity to sit behind the wheel. Already voted Best Large SUV 2017 by WhatCar? Over a 150 guests turned out to explore the first ŠKODA model to feature seven seats; an optional third row enables you to bring the whole family together. Packed with surprising features, big and small, the evening also featured the new shape OCTAVIA. Improving an icon is an ambitious task. The new ŠKODA Octavia retains its powerful yet elegant build with a new design and enhanced features to create a car that truly means business.
Managing Director-Tony Slack said, “ As the oldest ŠKODA dealer in the north east, we know the Octavia has always offered outstanding value-for-money with an exceptional combination of style and versatility. The new model takes that one step further, with new Simply Clever features and state of the art technology such as SmartLink and enhanced driver assistance systems.”
The exciting visuals and sound system were managed by our technical partners, Artistic Solutions. Refreshments included nibbles, wine and cheese with special spot prizes and giveaways.
Tony Slack finished by saying, “It was a very successful evening and nice to see so many old friends. Special congratulations must also go out to our raffle prizes winners: Mr. Turford, Mr. Phelps and Mr. West. I’d also like to take this opportunity to thank all the staff at Derek Slack Motors for their hard work and effort and to everyone who joined us to witness the start of a new chapter in ŠKODA’s history.”
